02FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is there a recruiting season?

Undergraduate researchers year-round; graduate admission follows the university's spring and fall schedules. Enquiries are welcome any time.

Do I need prior generative-AI experience?

No. With Python and basic deep learning you start with seminars. Interest and persistence matter more.

Are there scholarships or stipends?

Project participants are paid according to research funding regulations. Graduate scholarships follow university rules.

What equipment do you use?

The lab GPU server and workstations, accessed remotely. A personal laptop is enough to participate.

What are the selection criteria?

In an interview we look at your interests and what you have tried. Evidence of doing things yourself matters more than grades.

Can students from other departments or universities apply?

Yes for graduate school. Undergraduate researchers are primarily Dongseo University students.
